***Nevada County is launching a new opt-in alert and warning system, Nevada County Alerts, which will replace CodeRED. This platform will deliver critical information to residents during emergencies.***

 

The Grass Valley Police Department, Grass Valley Fire Department, and Nevada County Office of Emergency Services use the Nevada County Emergency Alert System as the primary method of communication during critical incidents. Nevada County Alerts is an opt-in notification system, and these alerts can be received via text, email, landline, cell phone, and TTY. Residents and visitors are encouraged to subscribe to Nevada County Alerts to stay informed during emergencies.
