City Council appoints the City Manager, who is responsible for
implementing and carrying out the policies of the Council. The
City Manager supervises operations, directs departments and
services, and enforces the laws and policies as adopted by the
City Council.
The City’s Police Chief is currently serving as Interim City
Manager, as appointed by the City Council, until a permanent City
Manager is selected.
Under the leadership of the City Manager, city staff strives to
fulfill the Mission, Vision, and Values of the City of Grass
Valley.
